Our team has participated in the research and development of state of the art lubrication processes, as well as standardization of lubrication tests and oil selection criteria.

We have worked very closely with Oil suppliers such as Exxon Mobil, Shell, CITGO and Conoco Phillips as well as additive companies such as Lubrizol and Afton. Some of our engineers hold patents for special lubrication system components developed alongside with Nortek S.A. from Spain.

We have developed the leading Fluids technology for ferrous high-speed mill cooling processes. This includes the selection and adaptation of highly accurate control valves and ultra high-speed valves for mills continuously rolling at speed above 120 m/s, including interaction for research and development with companies such as Fisher and Rosemount.

Thermodynamic and heat transfer simulation software is available for different setups and configurations.

In the hydraulics field our team has developed several systems for automatic sequencing systems and processes based on the latest Parker and Sun Hydraulics components, specifically customized for high-speed rolling mill operations. Research and development in lineal, rotational and controlled motion processes includes optimization of power units, standardization of systems, components and spare parts.
